Men's Healing Masterclass

The Men's Healing Masterclass will be every Monday at 11am-12:30pm CST for 8 weeks, starting June 14th.

Movement without forward motion gets old.

This masterclass will show you that it’s safe to disrupt the unhelpful patterns and limiting beliefs you’ve been swirling in for years. 

 

Topics Covered:

WEEK 1: Understanding Our Autonomic Nervous System

You deserve to understand the way your brain and body was designed to operate. 

You will learn 

  • Your brain development and structure
  • The purpose and process of your nervous system
  • How your body detects cues of safety and danger in your environment
  • The way it responds to threats
  • How your body finds safety
WEEK 2: Understanding Polyvagal Theory

Now that you understand the basic structure of the nervous system, we will expand on the three primary and three blended states of your nervous system.  We will determine how you experience each state personally so you can better understand your patterns and behaviors through a lens of biology so you can finally see that you make sense. 

You will identify

  • How you personally experience each state of the nervous system
  • The emotions, thoughts and behaviors associated with each state
  • The ways your sense of agency differs depending on each state
  • How your body somatically experiences each state

WEEK 3: Identifying Our Triggers

By week three, you will have completed assignments that help you identify nervous system patterns in your daily life.  We will use this information to identify what is causing you to shift states. 

You will learn 

  • Regulation exercises to help you experience Ventral, your place of safety and connection
  • Your personal trigger patterns
  • The most common types of triggers for each state

WEEK 4: Discovering Our Resources

Now that you understand your nervous system and what is causing you to state shift, we will expand on somatic tools, regulation resources and embodied practices to help you begin to move yourself out of self-protection and into connection again.  You deserve to feel safe, connected and socially engaged.  It is possible for you to truly rest, enjoy life and let your guard down. This week we will equip you with tools to make it happen! 

You will begin to 

  • Understand what types of resources work for you personally 
  • Identify which somatic tools work best for each specific state
  • Learn new regulation resources to help you get unstuck

WEEK 5: Identifying our Attachment Styles

You deserve to have healthy, thriving, fulfilling and emotionally safe relationships.  Our focus in week 5 is to discover our attachment styles, so we can better understand how we emotionally connect with others. 

You will be able to

  • Recognize your attachment style and how it has impacted your current and previous relationships
  • Understand how our nervous systems play a role in our attachment styles 
  • Identify why your relational patterns make sense

WEEK 6: Identifying Core Wounds

Next, we will identify the core wounds and limiting beliefs that have been holding us back and more importantly, how to begin healing them!

You will

  • Understand the experience and belief cycle
  • Identify the core wounds and limiting beliefs that are keeping you stuck in an unhelpful loop
  • Determine how to heal core wounds through embodying disconfirming experiences
  • Learn that your state determines your story

WEEK 7: Inner Child & Parts Work

With kindness, curiosity and compassion we will begin to identify and heal the many parts of us through somatic internal family systems and inner child work.

You will

  • Meet your inner child
  • Discover the main source of your triggers
  • Gain tools to begin to identify and integrate the many parts of you
  • Begin giving the younger parts of you what they needed when you were younger

WEEK 8: Generational Patterns  

I know you are ready to draw a line in the sand for your family's patterns. We will wrap up the course with gaining tools to identify and begin healing intergenerational trauma.

You will start to

  • Understand the science of Epigenetics
  • Identify the patterns and behaviors that have been wrecking havoc on your family so that they can end with you

Frequently Asked Questions:

1) When are the calls?

The Women's Healing Masterclass will be every Thursday at 11am-12:30pm CST for 8 weeks, starting June 17th.

The Men's Healing Masterclass will be every Monday at 11am-12:30pm CST for 8 weeks, starting June 14th.

2) What if I can't make every call?

Not to worry! Each call's lesson will be recorded so you never have to worry if you can't make it to the live call.

3) Will I have to share on the call?

No, you do not ever have to share anything unless you want to. This is a trauma-informed class, which means we value agency and choice and think you should always have both. There are occasional break out groups that will help you connect with other people in the class, but only if you want to. You are always welcome to sit out for the breakout groups! We want to promote safety. If you don't feel safe to share, you do not have to!

4) What about confidentiality?

The lesson portion of the call, typically the first hour, is the only part of the call that is recorded. The last 30ish minutes of the call is a live Q&A and live coaching portion. You can submit questions before to make sure you get the help you want. The live Q&A and live coaching portion of the call will not be recorded to protect your confidentiality. Also, refer to #2. You never have to share unless you want to!

5) What if I need more help?

Most of the time the lessons bring up ideas of things you want some coaching on. The Live Q&A and coaching portions of the call are designed to create space for you to have your individual questions answered and even get coached directly if you would like. If you find that you need more individual coaching, not to worry! You are welcomed and encouraged to add on one-on-one coaching sessions at the end of the 8 weeks. The even better news? You will get the one-on-one session at a reduced rate simply because you took the Healing Masterclass! Who doesn't love a discount?!

6) How many people will be in the class?

In order to maintain a safe space where everyone can feel seen and heard, classes are limited to about 15 people.

I know healing can feel like a never ending and isolating process. I designed this class because I don't want you to have to do it alone AND I want to make it as easy as possible for you to get the tools, resources and information you need to really transform.
